Our history
1974
Hurom was born as a company producing kitchen appliances.
Entrepreneur and innovator, Hurom’s founder had a mission to promote a healthy lifestyle by creating devices that helped people eat more nutritious whole foods.


1979-1998
Developed kitchen appliances, including an electric food processor.
Innovation has always been a key factor at Hurom. During this period, Hurom produced and marketed various kitchen appliances, including a high-speed food processor.
2005
Hurom Slow Juicer selected as world-class Korean product
The world’s first slow cold press extractor is launched.
Hurom announces the first slow extractor using its world-patented SST (Slow Squeezing Technology) technology.


2010
Hurom was born as a company producing kitchen appliances.
The Korean government has designated Hurom Slow Juicer as a first-class product reflecting its growth in the market. World Class Product has led to a product that ranks in the top 5 in terms of global market share every year.
2013
Winner of the Red Dot Design Award and the IF Award for Product Design
Hurom awarded for excellence in product design in world-renowned design competitions.

In the slow juicer market, launched by Hurom, Hurom Slow Juicer has racked up millions of sales worldwide. Hurom continues to refine its juice technology and develop more useful devices.
The Hurom Product Research Institute develops and innovates, to offer customers the best products and technologies.
• Pre-development team: responsible for preliminary research, review of new components and execution testing.
• Design Team: Design and verify product models using 3D printers.
• Certification team: certifies the safety of domestic and foreign products, as well as the development of electrical device components.
• Product Design Team: Analyzes global trends, as well as consumer trends, to conceive and implement the most appropriate designs and functions.
