The difference between extractor and juicer.
Among the most used kitchen utensils in recent years, we cannot fail to mention the extractor and the citrus juicer. But what is the difference between these two machines? If you are wondering which of the two devices is better for preparing, for example, a healthy fruit juice, we will explain it to you below.

The first big difference that you notice between the extractor and the juicer refers to the possibility of obtaining juice only from specific fruits. In fact, with the citrus juicer you can only obtain orange juice, grapefruit juice or lemonade, while with an extractor like the Hurom one you can have fun creating detox drinks, energy smoothies or, why not, a good ACE juice. Also in terms of operation, we can say that there are differences between the extractor and the citrus juicer: for example, the latter can be manual or electric, while an extractor works exclusively with electrical energy.
Of course, a juicer also differs from a centrifuge and a blender. Precisely for this reason we also thought of mentioning the difference between extractor, centrifuge and mixer. Although these are three common household appliances, they all work differently and can offer a drink that has nothing to do with the one you could prepare with our Hurom extractor. Analyzing first the difference between extractor and blender, we can say that the ingredients are processed differently: Hurom extractors help obtain fruit and vegetable juice through slow cold extraction, while the blender with its blade overheats the ingredients, causing the smoothie to oxidize faster.

But what is the difference between the extractor and the centrifuge? The centrifuge, like the blender, has blades that rotate at high speed to chop fruits and vegetables. The result of this work is a filtered juice in which the fibrous residues are stored. A s we said before, the extractor, like all our Hurom models, is characterized by working at very low speed, obtaining more juice and less waste!
The extractor and centrifuge together
There is not a single machine on the market that combines extractor and centrifuge, since they have two different ways of working. Our advice is that you take a look at the different proposals that we have available, including the M100 model. It is a blender and extractor that allows you to chop harder ingredients such as nuts or ice to add to your fruit smoothie. This way, you’ll be sure to make a truly tasty and nutrient-dense morning drink!
